The Virtuous Wife

Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships, she brings her food from afar. She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants. She considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard. She girds herself with strength, and strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good, and her lamp does not go out by night. She stretches out her hands to the distaff, and her hand holds the spindle. She extends her hand to the poor, yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet. She makes tapestry for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes for the merchants. Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.

This World Needs Prayer

Father

Thank you for today Lord and for all your blessings. Help me never to walk in the counsel of the ungodly nor stand in the path of sinner nor sit in the seat of the scornful. Let my delight always be in your law oh Lord, and in your law to meditates day and night, at every opportunity. Let me be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever I do make it prosper. Don’t let me be like the ungodly who are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. For the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For you oh Lord know the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Let me not be one of the ones that will perish. I know that you have forgiven me of my sins and pray that you help me to stay on the path of the righteous.
Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? Lord you see all the awful stuff that is going on in our world today. My heart breaks at the injustices that harm and hurt so many families. Especially when they hurt your children. Be with those who have been hurt through awful events in history and that are still being hurt today. Heal them and help them to know your love to its fullest. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against you Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” use see this happening everywhere Lord. Our public school systems are corrupted and saturated with teachings that are meant to destroy children’s faith in you. And by the millions they get led astray away from you every year. Lord what can we do to stop this trend? The future looks so bleak at times.
One day I know you will take judgement upon this earth. One day all this pain will end. I ask that you spare my children as much pain as you can Lord. As you know Lord, I have suffered a lot in my life. But I know you have redeemed me and are in the process of healing. Thank you for this gift. You alone can change this world and the people in it. No other power on earth can change the heart of people and that is the only place that true change can really happen.

Thank you that through your saving power many will escape your wrath when the time of your judgement has come. Often I wish you would come today, but when I look around me I think again and ask that you wait a little longer please Jesus. There are so many still wandering out in sin, including members of our families. Just a little longer please Jesus, a few more days to get our loved ones into heaven. Please save my children … every one of them.
You have said that we should ask for things in your name, therefore I ask that you save all our families. Give us all an inheritance in your kingdom. Help me to be wise on how I interact with others. Help me to have a good and strong witness for you. Instruct me always in your ways oh Lord. I will server you with fear and rejoice with trembling as long as I live  because you have shown me great love, mercy and grace and have saved me from the pit. Thank you for your blessing that you give to all those who put their trust in you. Help me to trust you more and give me your reassurance that all will be well. Amen.
